Watercolour Artist
Francesca Antoinette Westropp Lang is the artist behind FAWL Designs. She specialises in her signature watercolour style. Each design begins with a hand-painted idea, brought to life with Francesca’s strong eye for colour, gestural brushstroke and unique lens. Constantly inspired by the unexpected beauty of the British Suffolk countryside, she captures nature in her playful and energetic marks that dance across the paper.
Recently, Francesca has been creating from her light-filled studio, and has truly been focusing on building her watercolour products. These range from custom hand painted commissions, expressive prints, up-cycled vases, a whole collection of the female figure, a landscape collection and mini desk canvases.

Life as an aspiring watercolour artist
I’m Francesca Antoinette Westropp Lang. As long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep growing passion for interior design. So being able to see my own artwork up in other people homes, is one of the most rewarding sights. I am currently finishing my last year at Loughborough University, specialising in Printed Textiles. I have just successfully completed my Placement year in the creative industry. I was fortunate enough to gain valuable experience by working at some very respectful print studios, and some highly established interior companies. These companies consist of, Taylor Howes, Designers Guild and Karolina York. I am a motivated, reliable, and detail oriented designer, and I enjoy working closely with other creative professionals.
